Caroline Lovelace is Founding Partner at Rose Hill Park Alternative Asset Managers, as well as Preserver Partners as CIO and Co-Portfolio Manager. Preserver is diverse-owned and Memphis-based. It runs a multi-strategy fund that invests through external managers. She has had an extensive career in researching and investing in hedge funds and in promoting emerging private equity and hedge fund investment programs.
9. Veronica O’Keane: On the Making of Memories and the Wisdom of Age
Veronica O’Keane has recently retired from her position which was as a professor of psychiatry and consultant psychiatrist at Trinity College Dublin. She has over 30 years of experience in the field and has published numerous research papers, especially on mood disorders and on perinatal depression. She is the author of the book A Sense of Self: Memory, the Brain, and Who We Are and The Rag & Bone Shop, How We Make Memories and Memories Make Us. She lives by the sea in north Dublin and is a passionate open sea swimmer.
Erryca Robicheaux DEI Leader: Visibility and Acceptance, with a side of Joy
Erryca Robicheaux describes herself as shaping the future of Diversity and Inclusion through technology. She is a certified DEI leader and strategist as well as a Neurodiversity ERG lead.
23. Maggie Lower of the Board of Grindr: Blending the Art and Science of Marketing with the Magic of Representation
Maggie Lower describes herself as a Pop Culture Enthusiast and Music Lover as well as a CMO and Board Member. She was formerly CMO for Hootsuite, a social media management platform where she fostereda collaborative marketing approach. She joined the Board of Directors of Grindr the largest LGBTQIA+ social networking App and has won multiple awards as an LGBTQIA+ advocate and been a keynote speaker. She also holds multiple roles as Senior Board Advisor.
Pride Series 2023: Intersectionality, Authenticity and Progress
June is here, and we are delighted to be back with our annual Pride Series, that this year will be a little bit different. It will be a bit different because although we are launching it in June, we intend to keep adding to the series all year long – because Pride is for life, not just every June. This year – to kick things off, we hear from the Founder of “Out in Finance” about the affinity group he is building, and the relief he felt on being able to be his authentic self as well as from a financial planner who specifically focuses on working with LBGTQ+ “folx” to enable them to live their lives authentically
1. Alistair McQueen of Aviva: Maintaining a Diverse and Rich Workforce and the Mid-Life Review
Alistair McQueen is Head of Savings & Retirement at Aviva UK plc, where he has spent over 23 years. He has been instrumental in raising awareness of the importance of older workers, and initiated the >45 mid-life review for Aviva’s staff and is an advocate for the importance of diversity within financial firms.
