38. Susan Berland – Coach and Advocate – working with parents of LGBTQ+ youth

Susan Berland is a coach for parents of LGBTQ children.  She has been VP of PFLAG in the East Bay area, PFLAG is a national organization providing support and advocacy for parents, families and allies of the LGBTQ community.

Susan has been a coach for most of her life, and is the proud mother of a gay son. She has channeled her lived experience and her time at PFLAG to offer a comprehensive set of coaching tools for parents of LGBTQ+ youth. 

35. Mark Segal – Original Founder of the Gay Liberation Front – Lifelong Activist and Advocate

Mark Segal is a social activist and author, who participated in the Stonewall riots and as one of the original founders of the Gay Liberation Front where he created the Gay Youth Program.  He was the founder and former president of the National Gay Newspaper Guild, and has won various journalistic awards.  He is a lifelong activist who organized the first Gay Pride parade in 1970 and remains an active advocate today. 

Emma Olivier – Trail Blazer and Disability Advocate: Highlighting the Twenty Percent

Emma Olivier is the founder and CEO of Twenty Percent, a disability Advisory working with Corporate Australia.  She was born with a limb difference – without a left hand – and understands from her own lived experience the challenges and opportunities of having a disability in the corporate world.  She spent over 30 years in consulting, most recently at Accenture in Melbourne.  She is a member of the Risk and Audit Committee of Scope, among other roles. 

281. Rob Gardner on attaining Financial Freedom – The Secret of Earn It, Keep It, Grow It

Rob Gardner is the CEO and Co-Founder of Rebalance Earth, which redirects the flow of capital to protect and restore nature at scale, He was a guest on this podcast in 2021, and that show is available here.  He has recently written a book with the title FR££DOM, which advocates three money moves to transform your finances. EARN IT, KEEP IT, GROW IT. This is just one part of his career-long mission to further financial literacy, education and investing for a world worth living in.

Tiffany McKever is a digital healthcare strategist, whose work has included researching and developing a Population Health Initiative with a focus on environmental factors related to social determinants of health (SDOH) resulting in significant impacts to healthcare cost access and quality in large urban cities. 37. Fabrice Houdart of the Association of LGBTQ+ Corporate Directors: Measuring the Cost of Homophobia

Fabrice Houdart is Executive Director of the Association of LGBTQ+ Corporate Directors as well as an Advisor to Fortune 50 companies and a former staffer at the World Bank and UN.  He is an adjunct professor at Columbia University and Georgetown University, where he lectures on LGBT inclusion within international development. He is a consultant to the Asian Development Bank and a Board Member of the Canadian Association of LGBTQ+ Corporate Directors, as well as numerous other board roles.
